This Sunday, December 3rd, 2023 between 11:00 am – 4:00 pm experience the charm and joy of the holidays at the Sharon Temple National Historic Site and Museum’s annual Old-Fashioned Christmas event! With free admission in exchange for a non-perishable food donation, there’s no better way to spread joy and warmth this holiday season. Come and immerse yourself in the magic of the Sharon Temple Museum, where everything is made even more special with a blanket of snow on the ground. Start a new tradition with your loved ones as you partake in a host of festivities that will transport you back in time.

Enjoy a whimsical horse-drawn wagon ride, marvel at the heritage decorations in the 1819 & 1840s houses, and warm up with some delicious mulled cider or hot chocolate in the cozy 1840s Cookhouse. And of course, no Christmas celebration is complete without a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus, who will be waiting to snap some memorable photos with you and your family. For those who love to shop, don’t miss out on the Vendor Craft Market, located in the Temple and Temperance Hall, where you can browse unique gifts and trinkets made by local artisans. And for the little ones, there will be an opportunity to unleash their creativity with fun and festive kids crafts, available for just $5 per child.
